This sculpture, developed during my Artist Residency at Arquetopia International in Puebla Mexico, in 2022, represents a fusion of culture and sustainable practices. Utilizing discarded materials sourced from the streets and items acquired from local vendors, it captures the essence of Puebla's vibrant community. The wooden cross, obtained from a skilled craftsman, exemplifies our ability to communicate creatively despite language differences, allowing me to convey my artistic vision. This sculpture stands as a testament to both the region craftsmanship and the significance of reinterpreting waste materials.
